Summer Reading Begins June 7th

June 7th is the start of Summer Reading! Early Readers, Children, Teens, and Adults can sign up for a reading log. Early Readers, Children, and Teens can get a book at the end of finishing their reading logs. Adults, Teens, and Children also get raffle tickets for finishing their reading log for bigger prizes. Adults also get 2 flashlight pens in lieu of a book upon completion.

K-5th graders can also sign up for the Pen Pal Program! The program matches children with other children from Millington, TN to write letters to. Kids can come and fill out a form to be matched with a pen pal.  Letters will be mailed to and from the library, so no personal addresses are needed for the program.  When a letter comes into the library, the library will call the responsible adult to let them know that their child can pick up a letter.  The last day to sign up is June 25th and the last day to mail a letter is August 6th.
