National Library Week

This week is National Library Week! We have so much planned at the library during this week.

This week, the library is teaming up with the Vassar Theatre. Comment on our Facebook page about your favorite book/author to enter to win a movie night out at the Vassar Theatre. You must reply by Friday morning to be eligible.
We are also teaming up with Asilynot this week! When you come into the library this week to return an item, let staff know what you thought about it and get a free bag of ground coffee from Asilynot (1 per patron).
The library is doing a time capsule! The capsule focuses on bringing the community together during and after COVID-19. Paper products and seeds are being accepted. Other items will need director approval. See the flyers for more details.
Book Club is back! Sign up starts this week. Sign up ends on April 22nd and the books will be in by April 25th. The first meeting will be on May 25th at 7pm.

The library will also be at Barn @ the Farm on April 9th. We will have crafts for the kids set up. There is a teen scavenger hunt set up for this week, along with our kids’ version. This week is also the last week to see the paper murals for March is Reading Month. The murals were provided by the Millington high school art class!
