Have you been meaning to come to the library to check out our renovations? Have you met the library director? If you haven’t, or just want to revisit the library, you should come to the library’s open house. The open house is on September 30th from 6pm-8pm. Cider and donuts will be provided!

Join the library for our Creature Features. Each weekend during October there will be a movie at the library that is Monster/Halloween themed. Here are the line ups and times for each movie:

October 2nd, 10:30AM: Monsters Inc.
October 9th, 10:30AM: The Addams Family (2019)
October 16th, 10:30AM: Hotel Transylvania
October 23rd, 10:30AM: Goosebumps
October 29th, 7:00PM: Halloweentown

October 2nd-23rd will be an indoor movie. October 29th will be an outdoor movie, weather permitting. At 6pm on the 29th, there will also be a "monster truck" craft for kids of all ages.

Learn from author and herbalist Bevin Cohen how to create herbal teas, balms, and tinctures using herbs that you can grow in your own backyard. A great presentation for gardeners and herb enthusiasts looking to take their herbal passion to the next level!
Bevin will share his decades of experience as an herbalist guiding participants through the many processes involved in crafting a wide range of herbal products for health, wellness and beauty. Bevin's books will be available for purchase after the presentation.

Bevin Cohen is an author, herbalist, seed saver and owner of Small House Farm in Michigan. He offers workshops and lectures across the country on the benefits of living closer to the land through seeds, herbs, and locally grown food. Bevin is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in numerous publications including Mother Earth News, Hobby Farms Magazine, and The Journal of Medicinal Plant Conservation.
