July 1, 2024 – July 31, 2024The first page of some of our books are missing and we need your help finding them! Come to the library to pick up an investigative journal. The journal will list which local businesses are hiding a page. Go into the businesses and locate the page. After finding the page, go to the front desk of the business and guess which book the page came from. Guess correctly and the business will mark the investigative journal. Once all the pages have been found and identified, return your filled investigative journal to the library for a prize. A raffle for a grand prize will be held at the end.

July 23, 2024Children K-5 who want or need extra help becoming proficient readers are welcome to this event. Student volunteers (and a therapy dog) will be onsite for children to practice reading to or to be read to. This program is designed to encourage learning and foster a life-long love of reading.

July 23, 2024Come join us for some summer fun! There will be activities, crafts, and games focused on the Summer Reading Program theme, Oceans of Possibilities! Some days will have special guests visiting the library.

July 24, 2024Come join us to learn how to make a craft or crafting skill! Each session is a different craft so keep up to date with the library website or call into the library to see which week has which craft! The list of crafts are as follows:

July 25, 2024Come join us for a story and craft at Asilynot Coffee Company! Children have a storytime special. They can get a donut and hot chocolate (or chocolate milk) for $2, with proceeds going to the library. Adults can enjoy Asilynot’s regular menu.

July 25, 2024Join us for a night filled with video games! We will have 2 switches and a PS5 available to play with. Some games are included but you can also bring some of your own to play. We will let teens stay an extra hour after we close to play as well. Pizza will be provided.
