June 9, 2023First day to sign up for Summer Reading Logs. There are reading logs for all age groups. You can stop in the library to pick up a log. There are prizes and raffle tickets for participation.

June 14, 2023Join the library for some Lego building fun! We will have the Lego bricks out in the conference room for kids to build. A movie will start at 10:30 and there will be popcorn.

June 14, 2023Come join us to learn how to make a craft or crafting skill! Each session is a different craft so keep up to date with the library website or call into the library to see which week has which craft!

Book Buddies

June 20, 2023Children K-5 who want or need extra help becoming proficient readers are welcome to this event. Student volunteers (and a therapy dog) will be onsite for children to practice reading to or to be read to. This program is designed to encourage learning and foster a life-long love of reading.

June 27, 2023Join us for a very special edition of Book Club! We will be reading Chevy in the Hole by Kelsey Ronan, a Michigan Notable Book. Kelsey will be giving a talk on her book at the James E Wickson District Library in Frankenmuth. Book Club members will be encouraged to go to the presentation in Frankenmuth at 6pm. Following the presentation, Book Club will commence the meeting at the James E Wickson District Library.

June 29, 2023Come join us for a story and craft at Asilynot Coffee Company! Children have a storytime special. They can get a donut and hot chocolate (or chocolate milk) for $2, with proceeds going to the library. Adults can enjoy Asilynot’s regular menu.
