All day: Pen Pal Program Sign UpAll day: Pen Pal Program Sign Up All day Kids K-5th grade can sign up for a pen pal for the summer. The pen pals will be other K-5th grade kids from Millington, TN. Kids can come and fill out a form to be matched with a pen pal. Letters will be mailed to and from the library, so no personal addresses are needed for the program. When a letter comes into the library, the library will call the responsible adult to let them know that their child can pick up a letter. The last day to sign up is June 25th and the last day to mail a letter is August 6th. |

Student volunteers (and a therapy dog) will be onsite for children to practice reading to or to be read to. This program is designed to encourage learning and foster a life-long love of reading. 10:30 AM: Summer Reading Program10:30 AM: Summer Reading Program – Come join us for some summer fun! There will be activities, crafts, and games focused on the Summer Reading Program theme, Oceans of Possibilities! Some days will have special guests visiting the library. |

10:30 AM: Storytime @ Asilynot10:30 AM: Storytime @ Asilynot – Come join us for a story and craft at Asilynot Coffee Company! Children have a storytime special. They can get a donut and hot chocolate (or chocolate milk) for $2, with proceeds going to the library. Adults can enjoy Asilynot’s regular menu. 4:00 PM: Teen Boba Tea Party4:00 PM: Teen Boba Tea Party – Join us at Asilynot Coffeeshop for a Boba Tea Party. Learn more about boba tea, the culture of its country of origin (Taiwan), and make your own boba tea! |
