    Children K-5 who want or need extra help becoming proficient readers are welcome to this event. Student volunteers (and a therapy dog) will be onsite for children to practice reading to or to be read to. This program is designed to encourage learning and foster a life-long love of reading.

    Paul Brandes, geologist and author of Michigan Rocks!, is coming to the Millington Arbela District Library July 23rd at 6:30!  Paul will talk about his book and have a Q&A at the end.  Please join us in welcoming him 🙂

    Come sing some songs, hear a story, and do a craft!  Great for children Pre-K and under.  Children also learn early literacy components as well!

    Come join us to learn how to make a craft or crafting skill!  Each session is a different craft so keep up to date with the library website or call into the library to see which week has which craft!  The list of crafts are as follows:

    Come join us for a story and craft at Asilynot Coffee Company!  Children have a storytime special.  They can get a donut and hot chocolate (or chocolate milk) for $2, with proceeds going to the library.  Adults can enjoy Asilynot’s regular menu.
