Literature to Film Club

Many films were inspired by lit­er­a­ture, but how of­ten do the screen­writ­ers and stu­dios stay faith­ful to the orig­i­nal work? If you en­joy read­ing and watch­ing movies, this club is for you! We will meet to watch a movie to­gether and then dis­cuss the tran­si­tion and in­ter­pre­ta­tion of lit­er­a­ture on the sil­ver screen.

About a month be­fore each meet­ing, we’ll have mul­ti­ple copies of the book avail­able for check out at the front desk.

The movie will start at 6:00 p.m. with dis­cus­sion to fol­low. Popcorn will be served. You’re wel­come to bring your own drinks along.
