We had a great night at the library’s open house yesterday. We had delicious refreshments provided by Asilynot and Miller Family Orchard. Thank you everyone that came!

The American Library Association’s Office for Intellectual Freedom keeps track of books that are challenged. Books can be challenged, banned, or censored for various reasons. Below are a few statistics gathered by the Office of Intellectual Freedom about censorship.

The next Bookshare Break will be on October 8th at 4:15pm. Come to the library and discuss what books you have been reading. You might give someone a recommendation or be curious about a book someone else recommends.
