The American Indian Library Association and Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Libraries has invit­ed us to join the Read Native Challenge. The chal­lenge to sup­port indige­nous authors, sci­en­tists, leg­is­la­tors, sto­ry­tellers, and cre­ators. HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

  • Use the attached chal­lenge lists!
  • Read each of the sug­gest­ed cat­e­gories and write the title of your choice on the line next to the entry.
  • Read chal­lenge entries in any order you choose.
  • Take a pic­ture of your com­plet­ed book list and send it along with your con­tact infor­ma­tion to readnative21@gmail.com for a change to win prize packages!

The library can help you com­plete this chal­lenge! We have books that fit cat­e­gories and can assist in find­ing mate­ri­als that would match with a subject.
