A Peaceful Place

We now have a quiet and peaceful spot outdoors for you to enjoy a book, browse our WiFi, wait for a ride home, or make memories with a family picnic.
(All we ask is that you please use the nearby trash can to clean up any messes and use the red container for any cigarette butts.)

A big thank you goes to Ron and Linda Leach, Jeff Bassett and the Millington Lions Club, and Yard Works Landscaping Services.

Literature to Film Club

A new spin on the traditional library book club…

Many of today’s films were inspired from literature, but how often do the screenwriters and studios stay faithful to the original work? If you enjoy reading and watching movies, this club is for you! Once a month, we’ll meet to watch a movie together and then discuss the transition and interpretation of literature on the silver screen.

About a month before each meeting, we’ll have multiple copies of the book available for check out at the front desk.

The movie will start at 6:00 p.m. with discussion to follow. Popcorn will be served. You’re welcome to bring your own drinks along.
