Free E-Book Reader Class

Are you still trying to learn to use your new e-book reader? Do you need help?

Join us at the Millington Arbela District Library on Saturday May 19th. from noon until 2:00pm for a free workshop. Amber Hughey will help citizens from Millington and Arbela Townships learn how to download an e-book, or an audio book, from the library’s downloadable collection. This will be a hands-on help session. All e-book readers are welcome.

New Public Access Computers

The Millington Arbela District Library has replaced four aging public access Internet computers. The new computers were purchased as a result of the library’s receipt of a grant from the Terrence S. Kaiser and Barbra A. Kaiser Foundation.

The new Internet computers and staff computers will be equipped with Microsoft Office Pro 2010 and the Windows 7 operating systems. The library’s previous Internet computers were provided five years ago by a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
