Banned Books Week (& Events)

Join us at the library for Banned Books Week! We have displays all along the library showcasing what books have been banned and the reasons for it. We also have the banned book guessing game. Come read the hints to books that have been banned. Put your guess to the book on the back of your ticket for a chance to win the book shown.

Today (9-20) we have a read in for the kids. Kids can come read whatever book(s) they would like and can also wear their jammies in. We will provide popcorn! Tomorrow (9-21) storytime starts back up, and the next round of trivia will be at Benny’s Bierhalle! Remember, it is Banned Books Week ;). We also have a cookbook potluck scheduled for Thursday (9-22) at 6pm. Sign up beforehand to participate. We look forward to seeing you this week!
